Cali 2010!

So a few months back my husband made me a promise that we could go to cali in february, and I of course jumped on that real quick! And it was so fun! Luke, Thomas, and I all hopped on an airplane and went to visit Thomas' little california cousins, and he loved it!
Here are my boys just landed in LA. He was the best little traveler. He slept through all the flights, and if he was awake he'd just sit there and give us big grins!!! He is the best little baby, but I may be biased, haha!!! Well here is kado and Thomas' first encounter. It was great. Kade loved Thomas and Thomas loved Kade!!!

Kade has a little motorcycle and he kept wanting to give Thomas a little ride.
Thomas thought is was soooooo fun!!!! Thanks kado! Your the greatest big cousin!!!
Here is Claire bear, our future #1 babysitter, with tommy.
And this girl especially loved Thomas she asked if we could trade. She wanted me and Luke to take Kade home and she wanted to keep Thomas. haha. Ella said it a few times, but I don't think she remembers that babies grow up and become KADE! haha.
Cali was so fun. We were lucky enough to be able to go spend the family day holiday at the beach house in oxnard, and it was so nice. The sun was shining and we actually managed to get ourselves some sun.

Just a few of our pictures from the beach house. I always love going to the beach house. It is so beautiful. It's so nice to just walk out the back door and be on the beach. The waves this time of year were really big, so I was a wuss and didn't even attempt to go swimming, but the boys were brave and hopped on body boards and surfed the waves. It was very entertaining to watch!!! haha. And it looked FREEZING!!!! I wasn't even going to pretend to get in the water. haha.
The rest of our trip was awesome. Brett and Shawn and Austin all came down too, so it was a regular old party at Mindy and Matt's. We went to the fashion district got some fabric, watched the olympics cheered on Canada, and had a few late night haagen daaz runs. I love being able to go visit Mindy and her family. I guess if we can't live in the same town, it's nice to be able to get together a couple of times a year. Thanks again Hunters for the fabulous party. We love you!!!!

Why we love Winter!!!

Well we took Thomas for his first Ice fishing trip! It was so fun. It was a beautiful day in mountain view and we sure enjoyed it! We bundled Thomas up in a million layers and blankets and he hopped on the quad with grandpa Walburger! Luke rode his snowmobile, he loves riding that thing any chance he can get, and me and Shellee headed out on cross country ski's to meet up with the Bevans'. It was great! We didn't catch anything, but a good fisherman needs patience! haha. That's what JD kept saying. It was pretty cute.

Cross country skiing is awesome! I loved it. The last time we went I didn't like it so much, I was falling all over the place. We were going up hill and it was slushy, at least that's the excuse I'm using for being so terrible the last time! haha. Here's a little shot of the last time I did it. Luke thought it was hilarious!
Then Grandma and Grandpa Walburger said they would watch Thomas while me and luke went for a quick snowmobile ride up in the brush! It was so nice! It was perfect weather. There wasn't tons of snow, but just enough to have some fun. Luke got a kick out of watching me try to drive his sled. He says I turned it into a lawnmower, Ok so I ran over a large patch of small trees, but I couldn't get it to turn, haha. It just topped off our fabulous day. I loved being able to spend time with my hubby doing something we both love. I love you luke for still wanting to have fun with your wifey!!! Your the greatest!

Thomas Luke Walburger!!!

If that's not the cutest little boy you've ever seen..... then you need to get your eye's checked. haha. Here he is our handsome little man, Thomas!! And he has been so great. He was born on Dec 5, 2009 at 2:59 am weighing 7lbs 11oz and 21 inches long, and looked perfect from the day he was born, ok so I may be a little biased, haha. He is now 6 weeks old and is doing more than sleep and eat... not much more, but he is smiling and for sure not just gas smiles, real live smiles, and they melt my heart everytime I sneak one out of him. He LOVES snuggles and would prefer if I snuggled him all day long, and sometimes all night. haha. But I love it. IT's true there isn't a better feeling than being a mom. I love him so much, more than I ever thought I could, and everyday i love him more and more.
Life has been really, REALLY busy since the day he was born. We had days and days of visitor after visitor and he loved it. He was on his very best behavior. He got lots of snuggles, from grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. I think that's why he likes to be snuggled so much, that's all he really knows haha.

My little Thomas there are so many people that love you!!!!!!!

He Got to enjoy his first of many very busy Christmas'. It was so fun. Before Christmas Luke, Thomas and I all went with the Walburger's to Whitefish. It was so fun. It was three days filled with fun, food, laughs, games, and new traditions. I love Luke's family!!!! I couldn't ask for better inlaws. We have so many good memories together and it's only been a few short years. I can't wait to make so many more. This year Thomas was baby Jesus in the Nativity. It was quite the nativity, complete with Lions and Dogs. It was so cute.

After Whitefish we came back to Raymond and stayed and Grandpa Baldry's house. It was a quieter christmas this year at the Baldry's but really fun. We went to the Hicken party this year and had lasagna and cesar salad the usual. It was Dad, Karie, Brett, Shawn, Austin and Lindsay and Derek for part of the night. It was fun. We ate food till we were sick and played some pretty fun games. And Karie got us some pretty sweet Christmas PJ's. It was all in all a good christmas!!

The rest of Christmas was followed with lots of fun and lots of late nights. We had lots of party's at Ryan and Sara-Beth's house. It's the new fun party house. Sara Beth made oodles of delicious food and we played warewolf, and liars dice. Warewolf was a popular game this Christmas. It got pretty intense. Brought out the best in all of us. haha. I love Christmas. I'm so sad it's over. I feel like it always flys by way to fast. Well that is my Christmas post/Thomas post. I'll try to be better and keep all my family members updated on our precious little Thomas.

BABY WALBURGER!!!!

Haha! Sorry to all of you who thought that was an announcement! I just thought that I would blog the many things that I have been doing to prepare for the little bundle of joy! The projects that have taken the most time and effort have been the oodles of blankets I have made. I guess since I don't have a house to nest in I make lots of cozy blankets for our baby to nest in. It all started with a trip to california to pick up material to make these adorable little minky blankets, which I love and so will you. You'll want to hold our baby always!!

Then I ran out of the minky soft stuff and decided I would try my hand at crochet! So I went and bought some really cute flannel and got holes punched in it and learned from Aunt Mona how to crochet the edges. Which I love! I think it looks so adorable, it is however a lot of work!!!

Then as if these weren't enough! haha. I walked back into the fabric store and saw many more fabrics I fell in love with and need to have and to do something fabulous with. haha. So I borrowed my sister's sewing machine and sat down and sewed blanket after blanket. i just couldn't stop. I'm serious when I say this is my form of nesting. You know how girls go crazy cleaning and cleaning and cleaning! My husband thinks I'm crazy cause I've made blanket after blanket after blanket! Well here are the rest of the little beauties!

There they are my pregnancy projects!!! It has been so fun. And i figure I'm prepared for the next baby too!!

Provincial Champ!!!

For this blog I'm going to give a little shout out to my little Bro! Last week some of the family made the trek up to Edmonton to watch him, and our other little cousin Caleb, take the provincial title for a second year in a row! Our little Brother Austin played SOOOOO GOOOOD!!!!, but I may be biased. haha. He got the first touchdown of the game, and tons of tackles. It was so fun to watch him play his final football game and to see him so happy. He is such a great kid, I guess not really a kid, but he continually amazes me. I have been lucky enough to live at my parents house for a few months and be able to spend time with him. He is a great example to me. He is counting down the months to when he gets to go on his mission, it's 15 months by the way, haha. I love ya Aussie and it's fun to watch you grow and mature in so many ways.
